Nursery – A Loving Start for Your Little One
At Starting Point, our cozy nursery rooms are designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for your baby, from 6 weeks to 18 months old. With a capacity of just 14 infants, we ensure that each child receives attentive care, including prompt feedings, diaper changes, and interactive developmental activities like tummy time. You can rest easy knowing your little one is in caring hands, surrounded by warmth and comfort.

Toddlers – Play, Learn, and Grow!
Our lively toddler classrooms are where curiosity and learning come to life! Each class welcomes 10-12 children, creating a fun and engaging atmosphere where little ones begin to explore the world around them. Through play-based learning, they discover how to count, say their ABCs, recognize colors, and develop essential classroom behaviors. Using the ABCJesusLovesMe curriculum, we introduce foundational skills, Bible stories, and hands-on activities that encourage movement, creativity, and social growth. It’s a place where every day is filled with excitement, exploration, and discovery!

Preschool – Preparing for a Bright Future
At Starting Point, our preschool classrooms (with a 10-student capacity each) are all about equipping children with the skills they need to excel in Pre-K and Kindergarten. From learning to hold a pencil to tracing letters, we lay the foundation for early writing skills. Our curriculum includes LetterLand for phonics and ABCJesusLovesMe for a well-rounded developmental experience, while our 4-year-old class also integrates Second Step for social-emotional growth. Here, kids develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning—all in a structured yet playful environment. (Children must be potty trained before enrolling in our preschool program.)

After School Care – A Fun & Safe Space to Unwind
For Pre-K and Kindergarten students, our limited after-school care program provides a welcoming and relaxed environment for fewer than 10 students. With convenient bus drop-offs from both Perquimans County and Edenton-Chowan School systems, we make after-school care hassle-free for busy families. Kids enjoy a tasty snack, unstructured playtime, and a safe space to wind down before heading home. Spaces fill up quickly, so don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your child!
